The Boys Warhammer 40K Project
Inspiration
My name is Alexa Young
In 2024 one of my friends who loved to paint war hammer bought me and two others a model to paint. And it was like love at first sight. Since then we have been crazy for Warhammer. And my friends decided this was the next the boys project. At the very end of 2024 to the start of 2025 the project was started.
This project I have pushed my self to learn and try thing i would normally not. Like using fire, and collisions for sparks.

Custom Salamander/Grey Knight/Noise Marine
My Character I made. Was based on the Salamander who are Arsonists and protect the innocent. And the Grey Knights, who are demon hunters. Plus a little bit of noise marines. With there ability to use sound as a weapon. I gave my character a Hammer that's also a cannon, and a Shield the doubles as a flame thrower.
Custodian, Grey knight, Mechanicus Marine
This was a very detailed mix of three or the most interesting factions to me in Warhammer. My friend picked theses because he also liked them a lot. And I knew it would be a big challenge. Adding detailed armor from both grey knights and custodians. And adding mechanicus parts. Biggest problem I faced was tall the details on the shoulders and the armor engravings. While the helmat I had some issues with the shape its self.
Custom Risen Dark Angle
This was the friend who got us started on Warhammer. And when he gave me his sketch of his character. There was so much detail. And wanting the cloth around the waist. those were the tuff parts cloth, and small details. It did push me with making sure the geometry was clean though needing lots in one place.
Lamentar Terminator
Big challenge with another one of my friends sketch was he wanted a different armor type in the Warhammer lore. So I had to do lots of remodeling and digging to get a good shape for the armor. While also having to make power fists with chainsaws on them. Because he wanted a little bit of chos elements in it, like the chainsaws and salvo missiles.
